Achievements, K R Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri, New Delhi

Scholar Badge ceremony was organized on October 9th 2009 to encourage the outstanding students who have excelled both in scholastic and non-scholastic performance. We give the Scholar Badge to the students from Class V-XII who scored more than 80%. Toppers of the class were awarded cash awards and those who maintained 80% of marks consequently for three years are recognized as super scholars. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Ritika Parruck Director for School programme and Co-ordinator for ISA from the British council. Dr. A.K. Bhatt, Principal of Govt. Boys Sr. Sec School, No. 2, Moti Nagar and Mr. S. S .Ganju. The toppers list is as follows:

Parth Kohli of class V B participated in Inter School Table Tennis

Championship at N.K.Bagrodia public school, Dwarka on 30th April 2009
and secured Overall First position after winning from 4 reputed school.

Dhruv Singh of KG-Mars secured Ist position in 50 Mts freestyle event in

44th Delhi state annual sub junior and tiny tots aquatic championship held at the pacific sports complex academy swimming pool, Andrews Gunj from 26th to 28th Sep 2008, New Delhi and was also recognized as the youngest swimmer in Delhi. Delhi swimming Association honoured him on 15th April by granting a scholarship of Rs.1200/- per annum.

Parth Kohli of class V B of our school participated in Ping pong Delhi

State Table Tennis Ranking Tournament from 13 to 17 August 2009
at Kulachi Hansraj Model School, New Delhi and secured Gold Medal in
Kids Boys.

School Skating team participated in North Zone Skating Championship

held at Remal Public School, Rohini from 9th to 11th September 2009 & Aryan Pawha of class IInd secured Bronze Medal in Inline Skating.

Amani Dhanjal of VII and Kanika Khera of VIII got 1st prize in Poster making competition at Appejay Saket.
Pragya Garg of IV got 2nd prize in Glass painting competition at Vishwa Bharti Public School and 1st prize in Best out of waste at Modern Convent Dwarka.
Rahul Gupta of IV got the 1st prize in drawing and painting competition at Ryan International Rohini.
Shivam Kaul got the 2nd prize in drawing and painting competition at Old Fort organized by Tata Indicom and judged by an eminent Artist Jatin Das. This competition was open to all in Delhi.
Aseem Malik got 3rd prize at Regional Level in the Camlin Art Contest.
