Session 2007-2008 was   very fruitful and a turning point in the history of the art department at K R Mangalam world school, Vikaspuri .An art show at India Habitat Center, Experimental Art Gallery was a big hit. The works included 350 paintings, pottery and print making, all done by the school students. Other important achievements were and art workshop for school teachers in the month of May 07, an art workshop for art teachers of fourteen schools of Delhi and about twenty-six teachers participated. Another major work that the art department was engaged with was painting  wall frescos at the K R Mangalam Montessori at Paschim Vihar. During the Annual Day of the school, the art department shouldered the entire responsibility of making the props and the gate decoration. We aspire to do better quality work and make art more enjoyable in our classes.
