CLASS V-E SPECIAL ASSEMBLY
TOPIC:- SAVE EARTH- SAY NO TO POLYTHENE BAGS
The new session 2013-14 has begun with immense zeal and enthusiasm. This is the first special assembly of the session celebrating Earth Day on 22nd April. Students of class V- E tried to showcase that by curbing the use of polythene bags, how they can contribute to save our beautiful planet- Earth. Few students enacted polythene bags and created havoc on the surface of the earth. It has been portrayed that putting an end to these bags is difficult but not impossible. A single polythene bag takes more than 5,000 years to decompose. The sole essence of this assembly was to create awareness among students and motivate them to curb the use of these deadly polythene bags. Consequently, save our planet earth from this monster and secure the future of the next generation by giving them a clean and healthy environment to live in.
It was a unique opportunity for the children to exhibit their talent in front of a very supportive audience. The effort put in by all the children and class teacher Ms Sangeeta Singh was appreciated and commended by one and all.
