SOCIAL-STUDIES ONE ACT PLAY INTER-HOUSE COMPETITION
TOPIC-” ANY HISTORICAL EVENT RELATED TO INDIAN INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENT “
On September 6th an inter-house competition was held in the school amphi-theatre in the 3rd and 4th period. The participants were from 8th std . The marks were given on the basis of dialogue delivery, costume, confidence level of the participants and importance of the play in the Indian history. All the four houses participated enthusiastically with Sapphire house bagging the first prize, Emerald-second, Ruby-third and Topaz-fourth.
Judges, the incharge of Senior wing, Ms.Rajlaxmi and co-ordinator for class-ninth, Ms.Shruti appreciated the efforts and the zeal with which the students of different houses performed. The students also exhibited their acting skill and spoke their dialogues with full confidence. It was an educative cum entertaining presentation for all. The audience also enjoyed the information given to them about the Indian National Movement and the important Anti-British Movement such as Swadeshi Movement, Simon Commission, Satyagraha, Lahore Conspiracy case.Last but not the least the audience enjoyed to the fullest and it was also well applauded.
