VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK
The widespread corruption has an adverse effect on the development of a nation. In order to eradicate and to ensure prosperity of the nation, the Central Vigilance Commission endeavors to promote transparency, probity and integrity in public life. On 26th October, 2015 activities concerning vigilance awareness were conducted in K.R. Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri. Students of Class XI (Commerce Stream) participated in essay writing on the topic “RTI Act- a deterrent to corruption”. Students showed great enthusiasm in the activity. They were highly researched and were very keen in bringing a change. They learnt how preventive vigilance can help in reducing corruption and enhance accountability at various levels. They can prove to be strong activists for bringing about a change in our society. They can help strengthen our system of governance by making it more efficient. Activities of such kind make students aware about the government and its functioning. After the activity, students discussed about various issues of great concern.
We would like to thank Central vigilance commission for this great endeavor.
