Visit to Parliament Museum
On 25th April 2013,sixty six students of class XI accompanied by teachers (Ms. Sonal Skinner, Ms. Rashmi Parashar and Ms.SaloniTanwar) went to the prestigious Parliamentary Museum for an educational trip. At the story-telling museum, students were treated to a heart-warming documentary about the freedom struggle of India. They were also shown various exhibits about the principles of democracy and how the Constitution of India came into being. They also saw exhibits about the teachings of the Mahatma and the cultural diversity of our country. What made them really interesting and kept the students engrossed was the use of light and video, animation, virtual reality and animatronics. The students also paid their respect to the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi. The visit proved to be fruitful and renewed the pride in one’s country, in the students’ hearts.
